Flow is Google's latest AI filmmaking tool built with and for creatives using Google's Video Generation model, Veo. I worked closely with the Creative Lab to help shape Flow's motion branding and art direction, and to strategize its application in everything from the in-product UI to its marketing assets.

Infinite Soup Concept
The core concept for Flow is called: Infinite Soup. A visual metaphor for the boundless potential of generative AI, where everything can become anything. We honor the content: All colors are pulled directly from the content, videos emerge from the soup, and the soup itself shows the infinite possibilities of what you can make. It's about bringing your blurry ideas into clarity and visualizing the diffusion process in a brand new way.

My Role
I collaborated closely with the designers and creative directors to create Flow's branding system that can be applied to the in-product moments such as, the motion that happens when the video is being generated in Flow, FlowTV transitional states, Prompt Box Animation, and Generate Button Animation, Flow Logo Explorations, as well as Flow Sessions Typographical Elements.
